Core ConceptsIndividual Bill

Individual Bill

Definition

An Individual Bill designates a routing scenario in SAP Utilities where a specific set of charges—often created manually—are forcefully processed through to the Invoicing and FI-CA modules entirely independent of the customer’s typical scheduling timeline.

Business Purpose and Architecture

When a customer demands an immediate correction and refund over the phone, they cannot wait three weeks for their next unified statement. The business purpose of an Individual Bill is providing urgent financial resolution. Architecturally, selecting this option forces the Universal Billing Engine and Invoicing layer to execute a localized, ad-hoc execution run. It rapidly bypasses the wait queue in the EITR pool, processing only the targeted line items into an isolated Print Document.
