ISLM

Definition

ISLM (Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management) is standard integration architecture within modern SAP environments designed to seamlessly govern the deployment, training, and execution cycles of Machine Learning predictive scenarios.

Business Purpose and Architecture

A Machine Learning algorithm deployed directly in production is dangerous without constant oversight and retraining against new data trends. The business purpose of ISLM is maintaining intelligence accuracy without requiring huge external data science suites. Architecturally, ISLM provides Fiori Apps (like ID F4470, F4469) allowing utility administrators to monitor live ML models (like UTI_BI_OUTSORTED_DOC), designate precise master data sampling frames (TEML_OUTBILPARAM), and retrain new data sets effortlessly to ensure outlier prediction accuracy does not degrade over time.
